I’m David, and at 75 years old, I’m proof that your best years don’t have to be behind you. For a long time, I thought my running days were over. Years of Injuries convinced me that something I once loved was no longer possible. But everything changed when I learned how to adjust my form, smaller steps, a slower pace, and a mindset focused on longevity instead of speed.
Those simple modifications brought running back into my life. I rebuilt my strength, regained my confidence, and discovered that I could run every single day without pain or fatigue. What started as a personal challenge quickly became a mission. I committed to running 2.5 miles every day, and as the days added up, people began following along. They told me these runs were inspiring them to move, to try, or to begin again.
That’s how Run Another Day was born. I’m now working toward 1,000 consecutive days of running, one step, one mile, one decision at a time. My hope is simple: that my journey reminds you it’s never too late to start, and that showing up consistently—at any age—can change your life in ways you never expected.
